Learning to drive starts with guidance that works for you. As a calm and patient instructor, I take the time to get to know you. I listen to your preferences and adapt my explanations to the way you learn best. The Dutch RIS method, a step-by-step driver training programme, gives your lessons a clear structure.

All prices include VAT. One hour is 60 minutes. The two warm-up hours are additional to the advertised lesson hours and included in the total price at your package hourly rate. Every package includes one interim assessment (TTT / RIS test 3) and one practical driving test. Further lessons, retests and learning materials are not included. The number of lessons you need varies; a package does not guarantee that you will be ready for your test.

Where do you offer driving lessons?+
My driving school is based in Eemnes. I offer automatic driving lessons in Eemnes, Laren, Hilversum, Blaricum, Huizen, Bussum and Baarn, covering het Gooi and the surrounding area. We agree your starting point and lesson times together.
I feel nervous about driving. Is that OK?+
Absolutely. Tell Tim what worries you. You do not need to get everything right at once: you practise step by step and discuss the support you need.
Will I always have the same instructor?+
At Tim to Drive, Tim teaches your lessons. You know who will be beside you, and each lesson builds on what you have already learned.
How many lessons will I need?+
It varies from person to person. Your experience, learning pace and lesson frequency all play a part. Tim discusses your progress with you so you know where you stand.
How much does a lesson cost?+
An individual automatic driving lesson costs €74 per hour. Choose a package of 10, 20, 30 or 40 lesson hours for a lower hourly rate. Every package also includes two extra warm-up hours (one before each test), one interim assessment (TTT / RIS test 3) and one practical driving test. Booked separately, the interim assessment costs €275 and the practical test €300, excluding warm-up driving. View all packages and prices.
Can I pay for my package in instalments?+
Yes, with no extra charge. You pay the full package price in 2, 3 or 4 instalments. The assessment, practical driving test and both warm-up hours are included in those instalments. The first payment is due before you start; later payment dates are shown with each package. You can also pay everything at once. See how payments work.
